NOvate’s first product offering, InfaClip, previously known as SafeSnip, is a patented disposable plastic obstetric device that simultaneously cuts, clamps, and shields the infant, mother, and birthing attendant from infection, aimed at reducing maternal and neonatal mortality in developing countries.

Bill has extensive global experience marketing, manufacturing, and developing products in the technology industry. He is a former Vice President of sales, marketing, and product development for a Fortune 500 company. In addition, he was the President of a $650M division of a public company and was responsible for increasing revenues four fold and operating income fifteen fold in four years. In addition, as CEO of a technology company, he raised $10M of private equity and transitioned an IP company into a product manufacturing platform, marketing products to Fortune 100 customers in energy, communications, and oil and gas markets.
William Kethman, MD
Chief Technology Officer, Founder
William received a degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Medical Doctorate from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is currently completing a Surgical Residency at Stanford University and has helped developed many novel and innovative technologies. William is responsible for guiding NOvate’s clinical and technical activities.
Marissa graduated with a degree in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin and has worked in the marketing and advertising industry for 5 years. She has helped many large and small ventures build both brand and direct response strategies, as well as executed advertising plans to increase return on investment and brand affinity.
